Arthur Semko

Lawyer

Arthur graduated from Humber College and commenced his legal career as a paralegal in 2011. He also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at York University, where he received an entrance scholarship, the Provost’s Award. Arthur earned his Juris Doctor degree at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, achieving Dean’s List honors and graduating Cum Laude. During his second year, he was selected for a study abroad program at Hertford College, University of Oxford, where he spent the summer studying international law and expanding his horizons. In 2023, Arthur completed a certificate program in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution at Harvard Law School.

Outside of his legal practice, Arthur is an avid traveler and a dedicated collector of the Macallan scotch.

Sofia Dergacheva

Paralegal

Sofia is a compassionate and dedicated paralegal who focuses exclusively on Accident Benefits claims. With a strong academic foundation and practical experience, she is committed to helping her clients navigate the complexities of their claims and secure the compensation they deserve. Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario in 2019, Sofia has devoted her career to supporting accident victims, aiming to make the process as clear, efficient, and stress-free as possible.

Sofia graduated with Honours from Humber College’s Paralegal Program. Originally from Russia, she holds a bachelor’s degree in law from St. Petersburg State University of Economics.

Outside of work, Sofia enjoys traveling, taking Pilates classes, and spending time outdoors with her Pomeranian, Cookie.

Liza Kaplun

Junior Law Clerk

Liza is a motivated and dedicated Junior Law Clerk with a strong interest in law and a passion for continuous learning. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, working toward her goal of becoming a lawyer. She is committed to providing reliable, professional support while continuing to develop her skills and grow within the legal field.

Outside of work and academics, Liza enjoys travelling and creating art.


Jennifer Timuri

Legal Assistant

Jennifer is a detail-oriented Legal Assistant supporting the firm’s Accident Benefits practice. She completed her Legal Office Administration Diploma at Centennial College before pursuing the Paralegal Program at Georgian College. She is now a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and is committed to providing organized, professional support while continuing to develop her skills and advance within the legal field.

Outside of work Jennifer enjoys travelling, staying active, and continually expanding her knowledge.
